How Jackie O fooled Kyle Sandilands into believing he interviewed Barack Obama

IT IS rare Kyle Sandilands will ever admit to being fooled but in an interview with Melissa Hoyer for On the Couch, he does just that.

IT IS not often that someone can pull the wool over Kyle Sandilands’ eyes, but his friend and KIIS FM co-host Jackie O managed to do just that.

In an interview with Melissa Hoyer for her On the Couch video series, the pair recall how Jackie managed to trick Kyle into believing he was interviewing US President Barack Obama.

They reveal the well-orchestrated prank, which happened last month, involved a strategically timed email from a “well-known celebrity”, a bit of nudging, a great impersonator and “a lot of lying and manipulation”.

Sandilands also divulged how he was initially too scared to make the call before biting the bullet.

“When it answered I just got a shiver of horror through me and thought, oh my god, it’s him,” Kyle explains.
