CHRIS Bath has a new gig.

The 48-year-old will fill in for Sydney ABC drive radio host Richard Glover for three weeks starting next Monday.

“I love those breaking news stories,” Bath said to the Sydney Morning Herald.

“Radio is like three hours of rolling coverage, so I know I will get that adrenaline rush.”

The popular personality is no stranger to radio, having launched her career on the medium three decades ago.

“I think back to 1988 and I still think the year I spent at 2UE I learned more in that year than in the ensuing 27 years afterwards,” Bath said.

The three-week radio appearance will be the latest in a series temporary gigs Bath has had since walking out on Channel Seven last July after 20 years with the TV network.

Since then she’s done a week-long stint on The Project, popped up as a co-host on Studio 10 and has appeared on Nova’s Fitzy and Wippa Show as a newsreader.

But as Bath revealed to the Herald, a fulltime return to TV could be on the cards.

“I have been talking to Sky, but I have been talking to a lot of people,” the presenter said.

“At some stage I will go back into the industry and television is what I know.”
