DAN and Steph weren't the only winners on MKR last night, it was also a huge win for Channel 7, reclaiming the ratings throne from Nine's The Voice

A massive 2.952 million viewers tuned in to witness husband and wife duo Dan and Steph beat Jake and Elle to take the title in the hotly-anticipated grand final.

The epic two-hour cook-off was watched by an average of 2.154 million fans nationwide who were most likely switching between MKR and The Voice.

Nine's frontrunner The Voice managed to hold 1.975 million viewers, slipping below MKR for the first time since it kicked off.

The 2013 series of MKR has been Seven's biggest TV success of the year so far, with bumper ratings averaging 1.8 million viewers. Needless to say, the network is already on the hunt for contestants for its fifth season.

It was a winning night for Channel 7 all-round, with brand new period drama A Place to Call Home debuting with 1.768 million viewers.

Now that everyone's favourite cooking show has wrapped up, Seven will be hanging its hopes on the big budget Aussie drama, touted as a compelling combination of Titanic, Downton Abbey, and Baz Lurhmann's Australia.

There's also fingers crossed en masse within Seven's camp for risky new reality series, Celebrity Splash, which kicks off tonight amid plenty of speculation it's going to bomb.
