UK TV host Holly Willoughby was the victim of a brutal April Fool’s Day prank on her breakfast show, This Morning.

The TV presenter burst into tears after being forced to endure a guest’s makeover from hell and even a car crash before co-host Phillip Schofield revealed it was actually all a set up, The Sun reports.

Willoughby believed a guest was on the show to receive a glamorous makeover ahead of a school reunion.

The guest was joined by her “husband” who had nominated her to win a pampering session by celebrity hairstylist Nicky Clarke and model Lisa Snowdon.

But the guest certainly wasn’t impressed with the result as she walked out on stage in a crushed velvet pink dress and white cowboy boots.

The guest wasn’t a fan of her makeover.

Her hair was also heavily backcombed while her face had a harsh pink lipstick and black smoky eyeshadow combination.

When it was finally time for the guest to look in the mirror for the big reveal, she burst into tears and asked if they could “stop filming for a minute”.

Ever the professional, Willoughby attempted to calm her down and said she could have her pick of clothes from the fashion department.

The cameras then followed the supposed couple as they got into an awaiting car — which crashed before even getting out of the studio car park.

Oops.
Oops.

The incident left Willoughby noticeably shaken and eager to cut to an ad break — before Schofield asked if he could quickly interject.

He then turned to Willoughby and told her it was an April Fool’s joke, much to her relief and dismay.

She raged: “Are you joking? Oh my God, I was panicking so much.

“I was really panicking, oh my God, you b — I can’t swear.”

Poor lady.
Poor lady.
