SUNRISE weather woman Nuala Hafner was left stumbling over her words at the sight of a buff man live on air this morning.

The 38-year-old, who is standing in for Edwina Bartholomew, tried to call the hunky beachgoer over - instead he took a slow motion dip in the water and began performing handstands.

“Oh look he’s wet now,” said Hafner.

“I’m really enjoying this.”

That’s certainly a distracting sight.

Hafner - a much-loved member of the Channel 7 family - then decided to introduce herself in a possible bid to snatch a date from the mystery man.

“I might embarrass myself on national TV,” she said nervously.

Then came the nailbiting moment.

“Hello I’m Nuala,” she said as she introduced herself. “Do you come here often?”

The hottie said he was a regular there.

“Are you single?” Hafner continued.

“I’m happily engaged,” the man responded.

“That was always going to be my wedding video right there,” a bummed-out Hafner said.

To echo Sunrise’s tweet this morning, better luck next time Nuala!
