IT WAS five-year-old Roseanna’s time to shine but this morning’s segment on Sunrise proves that producers just can’t help what happens on live television.

The young prodigy tennis player was accompanied by her father Steven when they crossed to Sam Armytage and David Koch in the Channel 7 studio.

“Why do you like tennis,” the co-hosts asked the young girl.

“I can’t hear them,” the young girl told her dad.

Much to his frustration, Steven began prompting his talented daughter but she refused to answer the questions in a hilarious exchange on air which had Armytage and Koch laughing.

Throughout the interview, Roseanna was making “I can’t hear you” gestures to the camera after her earpiece failed to work.

“Sorry you couldn’t hear us,” Armytage wrapped up the chat.
