The 33-year-old proved why she has become one of our most popular TV presenters after she went make-up free and dressed down during live crosses for the South Australian bushfire coverage.
“When I was in news, I lived for this stuff,” Harris told Confidential.

“I cancelled the make-up girl yesterday because I just thought, when people’s homes have been completely destroyed, you just whack your hair back and get into it.
“It is important work, people need to know what is going on.
While Harris spends most of her time glammed up on the set of Studio 10 these days, she has enjoyed being in the thick of it and on the road.
“They are both so different,” she said.
“I have been doing Studio 10 for a year now.
“When there is a big story happening, you do kind of want to get out there. So to be out here now and anchoring Ten’s coverage, it has been great.
“It has been good to get back on the road, roll my sleeves up and get a bit dirty.”
Harris married long-time partner Tom Ward last July and has been open about wanting children in the past.
