McKinnon, who is married to Channel 9 boss David Gyngell, told the panel she was not disappointed that Stefanovic was not going to run the streets of Sydney naked after he promised to if Queensland lost last night’s Origin game.

Why?

Well, it turns out that McKinnon has already seen Stefanovic in the buff after what sounds like a wild night at a friend’s wedding, which ended in the pair skinny dipping in the ocean.

“Are you disappointed that Queensland won and Karl won’t be running down Pitt Street naked?” McKinnon asked on air this morning.

“I’m in a position where I’ve already seen Karl naked so it wasn’t a big disappointment for me.

“I can’t say too much though because he’s seen me naked too.”

Stefanovic, who is married to Cassandra Thorburn, desperately tried to clear the air but it was met by some awkward silent pauses.

“This can go very badly this conversation, if someone’s listening,” he said, despite being on live television.

“We were at a friend’s wedding and we nuded up and went skinny dipping in the ocean — everybody does that.

“Doesn’t everybody do that?”

McKinnon added: “Who hasn’t gotten nude at a wedding?”

Stefanovic then said to McKinnon, “It’s just you and I talking.”

“It was at a friend’s wedding all right! Get your kit off folks,” he said.
