Fiona Falkiner says she should never have agreed to appear on Dancing With The Stars
THE Biggest Loser host Fiona Falkiner said the one of the biggest mistakes she’s ever made was appearing on Dancing With The Stars.
THE Biggest Loser host and former contestant Fiona Falkiner said the one of the biggest mistakes she’s ever made was appearing on Dancing With The Stars.
The 31-year-old, who is now the new host of the Channel 10 reality weight loss program, told Studio 10 this morning that she should never have agreed to the gig.
“When I was on The Biggest Loser I realised that if I worked hard and was dedicated, I could achieve anything,” she told the panel when asked what the biggest mistake she’s ever made was. “And I went forward in life with that mentality and then I got the opportunity to go on there and I was like ‘yes I’ll do this’ and I trained so hard and I didn’t get any better, I was the first one voted out. I was terrible.”
Falkiner says she was miserable on the program and no matter how hard she worked, she couldn’t succeed with her two left feet.
“Truly, getting voted out put me out of my misery. I trained so hard and it’s one of those things you either can or can’t. I don’t (dance).
“You guys can have it,” she said when a fellow panellist said it was their dream to appear on the show.
Faulkiner danced alongside radio star Amanda Keller, basketball champion Andrew Gaze, bookmaker Tom Waterhouse and Home and Away star Chris Hemsworth in series five of the show, back in 2006.
She was the first to be eliminated.
The Biggest Loser starts this Sunday at 7.30pm on Channel 10.
