Awkward moment Keanu Reeves cringes during tense TV interview
The John Wick star’s interview on Good Morning Britain went from bad to worse today, with a host’s question leaving the actor visibly cringing in his seat.
Good Morning Britain’s Richard Arnold found himself in an awkward moment while interviewing blockbuster superstar Keanu Reeves on live TV.
Entertainment editor was interviewing the Hollywood legend, 58, ahead of the release of the epic fourth instalment John Wick: Chapter 4.
Reeves looked stunned when Arnold asked about a car stunt in the film, saying: “Does that come naturally to you? I can’t even reverse park!”
Reeves replied dryly: “Yes, you can.”
Arnold then awkwardly laughed and said: “Well, I don’t even own a car, so that’s probably why!”
Reeves seemed surprised with the harmless question before pulling a face and slightly rolling his eyes as he looked towards his director, Chad Stahelski.
The awkward moment seemed to linger as Arnold then asked how much the star had been insured for and if anyone had been injured on set, adding, “I was on a knife-edge throughout the film.”
Reeves seemed to pull a face as he replied: “No. No humans were injured during the making of this.”
John Wick director Stahelski added: “We are very proud of this. I don’t think we’ve ever had an incident. Canine or human.”
Meanwhile, John Wick: Chapter 4 has officially become the best-reviewed film in the blockbuster franchise.
