Jackson exposed, allegations of sexual abuse

An episode of The Simpsons that features the voice of Michael Jackson will be removed from circulation after the release of a documentary that exposes the singer’s alleged paedophilia, according to a report.

Simpsons executive producer James L. Brooks told The Wall Street Journal that he and two other creators of the show decided to pull the episode after watching Leaving Neverland.

“The documentary gave evidence of monstrous behaviour,” Brooks told the newspaper.

“The guys I work with — where we spend our lives arguing over jokes — were of one mind on this. It feels clearly the only choice to make.”

The classic episode, Stark Raving Dad, features the voice of Jackson as Leon Kompowsky, a mental hospital patient who shares a room with Homer Simpson.

Jackson’s character sings Billie Jean and teaches Homer how to do the moonwalk during the brief appearance.

“This was a treasured episode. There are a lot of great memories we have wrapped up in that one, and this certainly doesn’t allow them to remain,” Brooks told the Journal.

He added: “I’m against book burning of any kind. But this is our book, and we’re allowed to take out a chapter.”
