Margot Robbie mocked mercilessly in hilarious TV skit

AUSSIE in Hollywood Margot Robbie has certainly had a good year — but she won’t finish it unscathed.

MARGOT Robbie’s rise from Neighbours cast member to in-demand Hollywood star has been rapid. She’s been just about inescapable in 2016.

You might even say she’s having a ‘moment’.

In a new skit for US comedy show Billy On The Street, host Billy Eichner guides actor and comedian Rachel Dratch through a winding obstacle course made up of symbols of Robbie’s ascent to A-list status in a skit titled ‘ESCAPE MARGOT ROBBIE’S MOMENT!’

If you feel like Margot Robbie’s been everywhere this year, you’re not alone.

It’s a hilarious, good-natured piss-take, poking fun at all that comes with being one of Hollywood’s hottest properties.

Dratch has to race her way through various talk show sets — dodging a gyrating Ellen DeGeneres as she goes — before jumping into a bubble bath with a glass of champagne, mirroring Robbie’s memorable cameo in The Big Short.

“Talk about people losing their homes — but SEXY,” Eichner barks at her.

“Oh, the banks ... Ohhhh, banks ...” Dratch intones, pouting for the camera.

Along the way, there’s also an ill-advised appearance on Lip Sync Battle (“Oh there’s backlash on the web!” Eichner screams, throwing netting over her) and a memorable crawl through director Martin Scorsese’s bushy eyebrows.

Our favourite moment? Dratch, catching her breath at the end of the course, assumes the hard work is done. But wait: there’s fellow Hollywood starlet Hailee Steinfeld, lurching out from behind a corner, ready to steal her moment! RUN!

It’s like The Walking Dead but with Hollywood triple threats
