Jessica Jones renewed for second season

JESSICA Jones is coming back in a second season of the highly acclaimed show that had fans and critics hooked.

IT WAS the surprise hit in Marvel’s Netflix foray, with both critics and fans loving the first season of Jessica Jones.

According to Entertainment Weekly the show has been renewed for a second 13 episode season, but a date has not yet been announced.

Filming looks to have started, with Krysten Ritter posting a photo on her Instagram confirming Jessica Jones’ return.

Still no word on who will be joining Ritter in the second season with fan favourite Kilgrave (David Tennant) likely not to return if the comics are anything to go by.

Kilgrave was a well loved/hated baddie in season 1 of Jessica Jones.

The show has garnered wide spread acclaim for its cinematography and approach to dark themes such as sexual assault and mental trauma.
