SPOILER ALERT
GAME of Thrones fans, the Sand Snakes are here.
HBO has released the first photos of Prince Oberyn Martell’s three vengeful daughters: warrior Obara, knife-wielding Tyene and whip-cracking Nymeria.
Fans have also been treated to a sneak peek at newcomer Nell Tiger Free who plays the now grown-up Princess Myrcella Baratheon, along with two new clips from soon-to-be-released Season 5.
The snaps were released on Wednesday night when the latest episode made its world premiere at the Tower of London in the UK.
Obara Sand (Keisha Castle-Hughes) is the eldest bastard daughter of Oberyn: a fighter whose mum was a Dornish peasant.
Whip-wielding Nymeria Sand (Jessica Henwick), nicknamed Lady Sand, is the second-eldest Sand Snake. She’s the bastard daughter of Oberyn Martell and a noblewoman from Volantis.
Tyene Sand (Rosabell Laurenti Sellers) is another of Oberyn’s daughters, but her mother is Ellaria Sand (Indira Varma).
The new images also show the beautiful Nell Tiger Free as an older version of Queen Cersei’s daughter Myrcella.
She’s pictured with betrothed Trystane Martell, a cousin of the Sand Snakes played by new castmate Toby Sebastian.
Season 5 also sees the return of incest couple Cercei Lannister (Lena Headey) and Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), Jon ‘You Know Nothing’ Snow (Kit Harington) and the evil, king-loving Melisandre (Carice van Houten).
The fresh snaps were unveiled on Wednesday night at the world premiere of episode one, series five, at the Tower of London — a perfect backdrop for George R R Martin’s epic tale.
The shows stars including Kit Harington, Charles Dance, Sophie Turner and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau walked the red carpet for the big event.
Not only did GoT’s stars make an appearance at the premiere, but the Iron Throne was flown in for the big unveiling. Amazing.
