Deadline first broke the news that Gabriel Macht, the man who embodied the sharp-tongued and suave lawyer in the original series, will reprise his iconic role in the highly anticipated spin-off, Suits: LA.
Macht played Harvey Specter across all nine seasons of Suits, cementing the character as one of TV’s most beloved legal minds.
The spin-off will see Harvey returning to the courtroom — this time in Los Angeles — where he’ll cross paths with Ted Black (Stephen Amell), a former New York prosecutor now leading a high-powered L.A. law firm.
Fans are already buzzing with excitement after Macht teased his return on Instagram. In a video accompanied by the Suits theme song, he captioned: “When an old friend is in need … it’s time to take care of things and make those very ‘things’ right.”
