LOCK up your sons and daughters, Reality TV's favourite lads and lasses are gearing up to film yet another season of Geordie Shore madness - only this time it's all happening Down Under.

Armed with their most outrageous outfits and partying prowess, the Geordie housemates are packing their bags and heading our way for a season of all-new shenanigans.

Aussie fans have been eagerly awaiting the return of the Geordie gang to our screens, and season five will finally debut exclusively on Foxtel's MTV tonight.

Leading lady Charlotte and partner in crime James touched down on our shores yesterday for a string of appearances ahead of tonight's season premiere.

The loud-mouthed but lovable reality TV stars, who headed straight to Wagga Wagga in country NSW, said Australia was always on their bucket list to host but it was simply a budgeting matter.

"It's the perfect place. The beaches, the nightlife... It's going to be better than Cancun [season three]" Charlotte (real name Charlotte-Letitia Crosby) assures news.com.au.

While an exact location for the Geordie camp hasn't been locked in yet, the 22-year-old star says that the flamboyant crew is "hoping to travel everywhere."

Filming is set to begin in autumn and Charlotte says she's excited to get back here with her cast mates and begin shooting.

As for the reception the vexing group of Newcastle's finest will get from the locals, Charlotte, with her no-holds-barred attitude, isn't the slightest bit concerned. "I think Australia already has an impression of us, I don't think there's any changing that now. We don't have to prove ourselves".

But, first on the agenda for the blonde bombshell during this two-week stint - once she's stopped "stinkin' and sweatin' from the 32 degree heat" - is to catch some rays and dive with the sharks.

"Wagga Wagga looks like a good place to get a tan, I'll be gutted if I don't go back with a tan", she says.

Originally a spin-off of the wild American reality TV show Jersey Shore, (and often referred to as Jersey Shore on steroids), the British-based version has now come into its own and is a massive ratings hit for MTV worldwide.

Geordie Shore is MTV UK's highest rating franchise ever and is now the number one subscription television series amongst 16-29-year-olds in Australia.

The latest instalment will follow the professional party-goers as they don ridiculous outfits and wreak havoc across Europe.

Our favourite resident lady was even happy to dish on some of the dirt in tonight's season debut: "There's going to be some sex, but can you guess who it's between?" Charlotte teased.

For those avid Geordie viewers, don't get your hopes up. Charlotte says her tumultuous on-off relationship with leading lad Gaz (Gary Beadle) has definitely come to an end.

"Me and Garry, we were never going to get back together. People need to stop wishing it."

Despite the pair locking lips at the end of season four and leaving fans hanging, she promises that "season five will be the end of Charlotte and Gaz".

So does this mean the single starlet will be looking for love in the form of a local Aussie beau?

"I don't know if I'm looking for love, I've got a few things going on back home," the star hinted.

Season 5 of Geordie Shore debuts in Australia exclusively on MTV (Foxtel channel 124) tonight at 8.30pm AEDT.
