Foxtel launches tenure-based loyalty program ‘Foxtel First’

In news that will no doubt excite Foxtel users, the streaming service has launched an enticing new program with money can’t buy rewards up for grabs.

Which streaming service offers the best value for money?

Foxtel will reward its customers with everything from free box office movies, money can’t buy experiences and the latest technology through its enticing new loyalty program.

The tenure-based initiative dubbed ‘Foxtel First’ was launched today by Foxtel CEO Patrick Delany, and is designed to thank both new and loyal customers of the business with rewards “only Foxtel* can offer”.

The vast array of experiences on offer include free tickets to Australian sport events including the cricket, a corporate suite at the Australian Grand Prix, private dining at Matt Moran’s Chiswick restaurant and a home styling experience with design expert Shaynna Blaze.

New competitions will hit the My Foxtel app regularly, which members of the loyalty program can enter to win. The experiences are scattered across Australia so all customers can access the rewards.

“We have sourced great rewards for our customers through our network of partners across sports, cinema, music and TV,” Mr Delany said.

“The great thing about Foxtel First is it’s free to join and this is only the beginning. Foxtel First will continue to grow with more benefits and more rewards to be added in the coming months.”

HOW IT WORKS

Available for set-top box customers, the loyalty program – which is free to join – is divided into four tiers. Bronze (0-3 years), Silver (3-8 years), Gold (8-15 years) and Diamond (15+ years).

The amount of years you have been with Foxtel will be automatically added to your member profile.

WHAT YOU GET

Each tier is granted a “welcome gift” with a free movie from the Foxtel Store, as well as access to enter the competitions.

With Silver, customers will additionally have access to view shows and movies before anyone else, with 24 hour in advance access as well as bonus on demand viewing.

Gold members will also get a free multiroom set up in their homes as well as 50 per cent off their iQ4 upgrade.

Diamond members will get a free iQ4 upgrade, exclusive priority service and a free home move.

New competitions will regularly be on offer.

HOW TO GET IT

Foxtel First is available to join through the My Foxtel app or via this link. Customers must login to their account and apply to the loyalty program.

Alternatively, you can call Foxtel on 13 19 99.

The program is free to join and allows immediate access to rewards on offer.

Note: Customers of other Foxtel services, such as Foxtel from Telstra, can reap the rewards of Foxtel First if they switch to a direct Foxtel subscription. Foxtel Now subscribers aren’t eligible for Foxtel First, however, depending on how long their current Foxtel Now subscription has been active, may be eligible to have their tenure recognised and applied to Foxtel First if they switch to a full Foxtel set-top box subscription.
