The cast of Sabrina the Teenage Witch reunite to wish cast of Netflix reboot good luck
WITH Netflix’s new series ‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’ about to premiere, the cast of the original series have reunited to give their ‘Best Witches’.
WITH only one day until the premiere of Netflix’s rebootThe Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, the original cast members from Sabrina the Teenage Witch have reunited to send their love to the new cast.
“From our coven to yours, best witches!” said Melissa Joan Hart, Nate Richert, Caroline Rhea and Beth Broderick in unison to the new Sabrina, Harvey, Aunt Hilda and Aunt Zelda.
After playing Sabrina Spellman for seven seasons, finishing up in 2003, 15 years on Melissa Joan Hart has officially passed the baton to the up-and-coming 18-year-old actress, Kiernan Shipka.
“I just wanted to send my ‘best witches’ to Kiernan Shipka — aka the new Sabrina Spellman. By the way, from one Sabrina to the other, if you’re ever given a choice between a broom and a vacuum, choose the vacuum,” Hart joked.
With the Netflix reboot set to be much darker than the ‘96 original sitcom, Nate Richert also wished his counterpart, Ross Lynch, good luck. “I hear the new Sabrina is scarier and pretty damn twisted, I’m rooting for you, buddy. Stay alive!”
Caroline Rhea (Aunt Hilda) and Beth Broderick (Aunt Zelda) also sent their love to the new aunties of the reboot. Watch the full video here:
