Jennifer Aniston would ‘proudly’ say she ‘banged’ David Schwimmer ‘if that happened’
During a radio interview with Howard Stern, Jennifer Aniston was grilled about if she ever hooked up with one of her famous co-stars.
Jennifer Aniston swears she never “banged” David Schwimmer – on a break or otherwise.
“We were in relationships and it was always never the right time and it wouldn’t have worked,” Aniston told Howard Stern on his Sirius XM show. “The beauty of that was that whatever feelings we had we just literally channelled everything into Ross and Rachel and I think that’s maybe why it resonated the way it did.”
Ever the charmer, Stern asked Aniston, 52 – who was joined by her Friends co-stars and pals Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow – why she didn’t “bang” Schwimmer.
“He was lovely, David was great,” Aniston replied. “But no, we never, on my life [got together]. And Courteney and Lisa would know if it did because they would’ve heard about it. They can vouch for me,” she added, as Cox piped up and added that it was “true”.
“Howard’s not going to believe me,” Aniston then replied. “No, I would proudly say I banged Schwimmer if that happened. But no.”
During the long-awaited Friends reunion special in May, host James Corden asked the cast whether any of them hooked up off-screen.
Schwimmer, 54, confessed to having a “major crush” on Aniston.
“At some point, we were crushing hard on each other,” Schwimmer said. “But it was like two ships passing because one of us was always in a relationship and we never crossed that boundary. We respected that.”

She added, “Honestly, I remember saying one time to David, ‘It’s going to be such a bummer if the first time you and I actually kiss is going to be on national television.’ Sure enough, first time we kissed was in that coffee shop.”
The couple, who played Ross and Rachel, had an on-again-off-again relationship during the sitcom’s 10-season run.
In real life, Aniston was married to Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux, while Schwimmer wed English artist Zoe Buckman in 2010, with whom he shares a 10-year-old daughter named Cleo. The two split in 2017.
