Fitzy and Wippa to host ‘20 to 1’ on Channel Nine

THEY’RE the loveable larrikins who host the Nova breakfast show in Sydney, but they’ve just signed on to host the revamped version of a classic TV show.

FITZY and Wippa have landed another TV gig.

The Nova radio stars will host 20 to 1 when it returns to Channel Nine later this year.

The loveable larrikins make the announcement on Today and joked that the first series will focus solely on entertainment guru Richard Wilkins.

“It will be 20 to 1 pick-up lines, 20 to 1 haircuts, 20 to 1 after parties ... 20 to 1 wives,” said Fitzy.

“Now you are going too far,” said Today co-host Lisa Wilkinson.

Fitzy and Wippa have some big shoes to fill. They’ll be replacing Bert Newton who hosted the show between 2006 to 2011.

Bert Newton hosted nine seasons of 20 to 1.
