Netflix viewers have spotted a glaring error in the second season of one of its most popular shows, Squid Game.

Three years after the Korean drama first arrived on the streamer and became a global sensation, it finally returned at Christmas.

The twisty second season came to an end with bullets flying and the date of Gi-hun hanging in the balance.

However, amid all the action, one eagle-eyed viewer spotted an embarrassing mistake that producers failed to see when editing the season together.

During a battle between the guards and contestants, a fan paused the show and spotted something unforgivable — a cameraman.

The fan tweeted the clip 22 minutes and 39-seconds into the series’ episode, showing a camera panning across the contestants only to show one of the camera operators in the upper-right corner of the screen.

Fans rushed to comment on the clip, with one replying: “How can such a big company like Netflix not notice this?”

“They clearly rushed the release to get it out before 2025,” commented another.

A third baffled viewer wrote: “How the hell did they not notice that? Did they not have enough editing budget?”

“Someone’s getting fired for this,” remarked another.

Despite almost three years off screens, sadly the show’s return was marred by complaints from some fans who were disappointed with its comeback.

Fans took to Rotten Tomatoes to share their reviews of season two, and many expressed their dismay at what they labelled a “terrible” and “disappointing” return.

“Season 2, was cheesy, cringe. Terrible acting. Felt like watching a day time soap opera. Surely it can’t be same writers and directors? What happened? So disappointing!” commented one viewer.

Another agreed, writing: “Very repetitive, characters are boring, and ending leads to absolutely nothing.”

“Season Two started off boring, but then got more boring. NOTHING NEW. It drags on by repeating itself, and then using the same plot, and then doing the same thing, and then going on and on endlessly with dull dialogue and boring endless trite repetitive actions … just like my review … to make my point,” complained a third.
