While the first glimpse of the fourth season promised the return of our favourite neurotic heroine Nina and the hilarious cast at their very best, this clip sheds light on some of the more raw moments within the Proudman clan.

There seems to be more heartache for Kat Stewart's character Billy, tears for nurse Cherie, played by Deborah Mailman, and more uncertainty for Nina (Asher Keddie) and Patrick (Matthew Le Nevez) as they prepare for the new baby.

Fresh faces recently announced by Ten include Kiwi imports Caren Pistorius (Paper Giants: Magazine Wars) who will play the hot new doctor, and Ido Drent (Shortland Street) who will play Nina and Patrick's relationship counsellor. Not that they need one, right?

Ten recently confirmed the return date for the highly-anticipated fourth season, announcing the Aussie drama will air Wednesday May 22, taking the primetime spot of their own Mr & Mrs Murder.

We're over the moon that Network 10 made the call to grab Wednesday night, given that Sunday is choc-a-bloc with The Voice and A Place to Call Home, Monday night is just plain confusing with The Voice, The Biggest Loser, Celebrity Splash and House Husbands, and Tuesday night is all about Celebrity Apprentice.

This season promises to be "the biggest chapter of Nina’s life". We can’t wait!
