MAFS scandal: Adrian and Sierah accused of cheating

Married At First Sight groom Adrian Araouzou has been exposed for creating his own fan account in a bid to boost his popularity.

The groom’s ex girlfriend made an appearance on MAFS Goss with Abbie Chatfield when she revealed the embarrassing secret.

Ms Geneva revealed that she discovered the awkward truth after sending Adrian a TikTok and receiving a notification that the account, @adrianmafsfan, had viewed the video she sent him.

“It’s a fan page he’s created for himself,” she said adding that Adrian wasn’t embarrassed when she confronted him.

“He said: ‘Oh, well, you know, it just gets me more views and I just thought why not?’”

“He is using it to comment on his own TikToks that him and his brother are creating, like laughing and reacting at his own videos.”

Listeners of the podcast rushed to comment on the cringe revelation, with one remarking:

“You’d be amazed how many MAFS contestants do this on the sly. I catch a few every year!”

“This is the best thing to come out about this season so far,” commented another.

While a third added: “I’m feeling so much second hand embarrassment right now.”

Following the truth being made public, Adrian took to social media to hit back at Chatfield for inviting his ex on her podcast.

“Abbie, I thought I was my biggest fan, but clearly it is you,” he remarked. “And the only embarrassing thing about that whole podcast, was calling that weekender my ex.”

“And to top it all off, I even gave you a repost, so you can get some more likes and comments, you are welcome.”

Chatfield responded to point out how problematic his reaction was.

“Adrian I’m not even going to bother explaining to you why calling someone ‘a weekender’ both sexist and derogatory,” she said.

“I don’t think you actually have the empathy or the intelligence to comprehend what someone is saying to you when they’re calling you out.

“I think you’re intimidated by smart women and women who are more successful than you, and I obviously tick both of those boxes so I’m not going to even bother.

“I also think that you know it’s [your comments are] sexist, you know its derogatory, but you don’t care.”

Chatfield also claimed Adrian was lying when he labelled his ex a “weekender”, and accused him of trying to deflect from the truth.

“We have texts, photos and videos from when you were seeing each other. We discussed the entire timeline,” Chatfield said.

It comes after Married At First Sight’s Adrian left fans fuming after many claimed he might have spoiled the outcome of his relationship.

Adrian and his new bride, Awhina Rutene, live on opposite sides of the country and it had left many, including him, worrying if their relationship could last.

Awhina lives in Perth with her twin sister, her son and her son’s father, while Adrian lives in Sydney and also has a twin.

After just a week’s worth of episodes, a fan claimed to have spotted Adrian out on a date in Sydney.

And it wasn’t with Awhina
