Did The Simpsons predict end of Toys R Us?
THE Simpsons seem to have tipped the demise of Toys R Us more than a decade ago in the latest eerie prediction from the animated series.
HAVE The Simpsons done it again?
The animated series seem to have predicted the demise of Toys R Us long before the company announced it was closing all its stores.
In a 2004 episode, titled Marge vs. Singles, Seniors, Childless Couples and Teens, and Gays, a group of childless adults start destroying all child-friendly things in Springfield.
The group turns the ‘R’ around in Toys R Us to face the proper way on their rampage.
While the episode didn’t mention the company going out of business some on social media suggest the implication was there.
Bruh, 9-11, trump getting elected, toys-r-us, major science breakthroughs. The simpsons creator needs to be investigated with all these predictions

Earlier this month, fans suggested that The Simpsons had predicted the link between Stephen Hawking and Albert Einstein, with this image. Hawking died earlier this month of Einstein’s birthday.
If that is too much of a stretch for you then what about the 1997 episode where Marge reads Bart a book about the Ebola outbreak, which didn’t happen until 2015.
Or when the Simpsons predicted that Donald Trump would become president of the United states.
Here is a video of dozens of other examples.
