‘I feel terrible’: Stormy Daniels sorry for Trump ‘mushroom’ taunt

IN A surprise U-turn, adult film star Stormy Daniels says she feels “terrible” about mocking the US president’s manhood.

STORMY Daniels has revealed she regrets likening Donald Trump’s manhood to a “mushroom” after her description sparked ridicule and went viral.

In a surprise U-turn, Ms Daniels told 60 Minutes on Sunday night she thinks her now infamous Mario Kart comparison was a step too far.

“So I was very angry in writing that,” she told Channel 9 journalist Liz Hayes. “And now that the book is out and people are reading about it, and it’s all over the internet I actually feel pretty terrible about it … in a way it’s body shaming.”

“Did you want to humiliate him?” Hayes asked.

“No. Absolutely not, which is why I feel a little conflicted about the book,” Ms Daniels answered. “I did not want to hurt him. My intention was for people to stop hurting me.”

Ms Daniels said she still had “no idea” why she agreed to have sex with Mr Trump, describing it as “90 seconds that I never thought about really again” until the US election.

“Either I was in the right place at the right time, or I was in the wrong place at the wrong time. And my opinion of that changes about every 20 minutes,” she said.

Despite admitting she had been hesitant to speak out previously, Ms Daniels said there was nothing the president and his team could now do to humiliate her.

“The entire universe has seen my butthole. Like, I’m pretty hard to embarrass,” she said. “Did you hear that thud? That was probably my publicist fainting. It’s one bad Google click away.”

Ms Daniels said she wasn’t going to stop speaking out about Trump because he “needs to be held accountable”.

“Do you think you’ve got the President of the US running scared?” Hayes said.

He’s not smart enough to run scared,” Ms Daniels replied.

“What is he?” Hayes asked.

“An egotistical lunatic at this point,” the adult film star retorted.

Ms Daniels, real name Stephanie Clifford, claims she had sex with Mr Trump in a Lake Tahoe hotel room after meeting at a charity golf tournament in 2006.

The adult film star has detailed the alleged affair in her new book, Full Disclosure, describing it as “the least impressive sex I’d ever had”.

Ms Daniels compared his penis to a Mario Kart character and described it as “unusual” and “smaller than average” — sparking a flurry of reaction on Twitter.

Speaking to the BBC, Ms Daniels defended the description, saying she wasn’t trying to embarrass Mr Trump but rather prove she was telling the truth.

“I was called a liar,” she said. “Unless he’s had a penis transplant, then I’m pretty sure that’s a checkmate.”

She allegedly received $A177,000 from Mr Trump’s lawyer to prevent her from going public with the affair during the 2016 US election.

The 39-year-old has claimed she decided to go public in order to protect herself after facing pressure to release a statement denying she had sex with the US president.
