Waleed Aly had to think quick as host Georgie Tunny tried “landing” a Hollywood-tier fake punch on him on The Project.
The pair were interviewing actress Elsa Pataky and asked her how she learned hundreds of moves for her upcoming movie Interceptor.
“Unlike choreography, if you do a wrong step, you get punched in the head,” Aly said.
“Yes, you do. If you miss one and you don‘t do the right move, it will get you! I was doing all my scenes. They know what they’re doing. If I miss it, it was my fault. I will get them,” Pataky replied
“You have to be high and do the movements really big. When you fight, it is usually quicker, but for the camera, everything has to be bigger and more exaggerated so the camera can capture it.”
Co-host Peter Helliar chimed in asking Georgie to “fake punch Waleed right now”. She took a swing and Aly dodged it. Everyone applauded.

“I thought I may hit him!” she said.
“That just fake-hurt so much,” Aly said.
“Elsa she has been wanting to do that for a long time!” Kate Langbroek said.
