Big Brother's 'Prince Charming' Ed the latest to be evicted
AUSTRALIA has voted to break up the couple in the Big Brother house, evicting 'Prince Charming', Ed.
THE fairytale has ended for Big Brother's Prince Charming Ed Lower, evicted with just one week to go until this year's winner is crowned.
The 26-year-old, who repeatedly boasted he had "cards yet to play" was forced to admit he was a "terrible cards player" after time ran out on his strategy to stay in the Dreamworld house.
Lower found himself in the bottom two with his BB "girlfriend" Jade Albany, the Ballina babe who survived the public vote but looks almost certain to be dumped by the former AFL player who would not be pinned down by host Sonia Kruger who quizzed him over the TV couple's future.
His alpha male contest with BB rival Tim Dormer divided the house and the audience, but proved Lower's downfall in the end as the two accused each other of manipulating other housemates.
Dormer's dad helped sink his son, voting for Lower to stand for eviction, along with intruder Boog's mum who slated the musclebound model type for being to obsessed with his image.
Lower told Kruger the antagonism with Dormer was because they were "polar opposites," with the latest evicted claiming the title favourite was duplicitous.
"Tim is playing this game and what upsets me is he tried to pretend he wasn't. I think we're polar opposites ... but he's still in there so I guess Tim's won that one."
The remaining five contestants - Tim, Tahan, Drew, Jade and Boog - were advised they were now in the series' final stretch with the winner to be announced next Wednesday night.
Two contestants will be eliminated on Monday, with three finalists to battle for the $250,000 cash prize.
