THE mother of Bachelorette Georgia Love has been remembered as “loving and loyal” after she died of pancreatic cancer.

Belinda Love, aged 60, died on Saturday after a six-month battle with the disease.

Her death came just days after her daughter declared she had fallen in love with Lee Elliott on the latest series of the reality show.

Love said that her heart was “utterly broken” in an emotional Instagram post.

“(Seven) weeks ago we were sipping cocktails in Italy,” she posted.

“(Seven) months ago you weren’t even sick. How is it possible you’re no longer here?

“Mum, you were my first friend and my best friend, my rock, the one who knew me better than anyone in the world and who supported and backed me through every single thing I did.

“You were the one I went to for advice, the one I shared every story with and the one who was always there to pick me up.

“There is so much more I need and want to share with you. I have no idea how to even begin to say goodbye.”

Tributes to Mrs Love describe her as the “beautiful and beloved best friend of Christopher Love, and the loving devoted mother and best friend of Catherine (Katie) and Georgia”.

“Our hearts are aching and we miss you so much,” a tribute from the family said.

“In our memories, with love, forever.”

Other tributes to the dedicated nurse described a bubbly, cherished woman whose life was “cut way too short”.

The family tragedy marred The Bachelorette’s finale last week where the journalist chose Melbourne-based Elliott over fan-favourite Matty J.
