Andrew O'Keefe: 'Ten poached everyone but me'

ANDREW O'Keefe reckons he's not bitter. But the Deal or No Deal host admits Channel 10 have poached all the 'best' staff, and he's now stuck in 'the same old job he's been doing for 10 years'.

POOR Andrew O'Keefe. With all the movements at Seven the long-standing co-host of Weekend Sunrise and Deal Or No Deal hoped a new gig would open up for him.

When asked by Triple M radio's Matty Johns about the shifting grounds at Seven this morning, O'Keefe said that sadly everyone has moved up but him. 

"Everyone moves up. Sadly I don't, I just stay in the same old job I have been doing for ten years. I'm not bitter about that." 

He went on to explain that the new Channel Ten breakfast show had pinched all their good staff. 

"Do you know what? They pinched two of our best researchers from Weekend Sunrise, they pinched our weather girl, ultimately the guy running the show used to be our producer, they pinched everyone except me. They are doing all the poaching and I am the fat in the pan," he joked.
