Haze told The Independent that the photogenic pair are definitely dating — and isn’t sure why it took everyone so long to catch on.
“I don’t know if there’s, like, some confirm or deny thing with the way relationships work in the media, but everyone just calls us ‘best friends’, ‘best friends for life’, like we’re just friends hanging out. It’s funny. It’s rad in some ways, it sucks in others,” said Haze.
“We f**k and friends don’t f**k,” she elaborated.
The loved- up pair have often posted Instagram pics of them kissing and cuddling, along with declarations of undying love.
So why have reports been so coy about their status? Haze blames uneasiness over their sexuality and mix-race relationship.
“An interracial gay couple, I mean, that’s just weird for America right now,” she said.
