‘Unreal’: Dua Lipa’s Aussie surprise guest goes viral
Dua Lipa has sent fans into a frenzy after bringing a very surprising Aussie guest onstage during her Melbourne concert.
UK pop megastar Dua Lipa has given Aussie fans the night of their life after bringing out a very surprising guest.
The 29-year-old Levitating hitmaker lit up Rod Laver Arena on Sunday night as she wrapped up the five-night Melbourne leg of her Aussie tour.
Fans were eagerly anticipating a guest star after Dua announced she had dedicated a slot to feature a song by ‘local artists’ each night.
Donning a sheer lace bodysuit and a dramatic white faux-fur scarf, Dua was beaming as she brought out Aussie-grown singer Vance Joy.
The crowd erupted as the pair began to perform Joy’s 2013 hit Riptide.
Riptide was nominated for both song of the year and best video at the 2013 ARIA Awards and was revealed to be the lomgest-charting song in ARIA history.
And it seems the fans got this memo.
“I was there and I was so shocked,” commented one user on a clip of Sunday night’s performance.
“I went FERAL,” said another concert-goer.
‘Troye and now Vance?! This is unreal,” said another.
Aussie pop star Troye Sivan also made a special appearance next to Dua at Saturday night’s show.
Performing his single Rush, the crowd couldn’t seem to get enough of the pair.
“This was NOT on my 2025 bucket list,” said one fan.
Dua will be resuming her Aussie tour tomorrow night as she heads to Sydney for three nights of sold-out shows.
