Taylor Swift adds two new shows to the Australian leg of Eras tour
Thousands of Aussie fans who missed out on tickets to the highly-anticipated Eras Tour can breathe a sigh of relief.
Taylor Swift has added two more shows to the Australian leg of her Eras tour after overwhelming demand for tickets during pre-sales.
More than a million fans flooded the Ticketek website on Wednesday in the hopes of securing one of just 450,000 tickets to three Sydney and two Melbourne stadium shows.
An extra show has now been added to the tour run in both cities and will go on sale with the scheduled final sale on Friday.
Swift will now perform a three-day run of her stage show in Melbourne with a new show added on Sunday, February 18 and a whopping four shows in Sydney with the final show on Monday, February 26.
Fans can try their luck at the new shows at 10am (AEST) for tickets to the Sydney show or 2pm (AEST) for tickets to the Melbourne show.
It comes as Today reports more than 720 million attempts to secure tickets using scalper bots were repelled by Ticketek during Wednesday’s sales.
More to come.
