Miley Cyrus heads to Virginia to campaign for Clinton

WHEN it’s a swing state that could determine who wins the election, Clinton isn’t taking any chances — and some stars are happy to help.

HILLARY Clinton rolled out a “Wrecking Ball” in Virginia on Saturday, hoping to up-end Donald Trump’s prospects in the key swing state.

Singer Miley Cyrus spent the afternoon knocking on dorm room doors at George Mason University on Clinton’s behalf, enticing co-eds to head to the polls and vote in next month’s presidential election.

“Your room is so cute! Sorry to come in with all these people, they’re awesome people also excited for Hillary,” Cyrus, 23, said as she barged into the student’s room and rattled off her sales pitch. “Are you registered to vote? Are you voting here or are you from out of town?”

“I’m from Atlanta,” the surprised student answered.

“Oh cool, I’m from Nashville but I actually just re-registered because I’m so excited to go on the day because I want the sticker,” Cyrus said.

Cyrus, who supported Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders in the Democratic primary but has pledged to back Clinton, donned an oversized blue bow with a red heart over her strapless bra, a sky blue furry stole, a glittery red striped wrap over white tights, and a fluffy magenta head band as she met students on campus.

She bounded down the hall of one residence hall, accompanied by a dozen volunteers photographers and security officers, in one video posted to Twitter.

In one room, George Mason student Mimi Abusaif, 19, told Cyrus about an encounter with a cute freshman who liked Trump.

“He mentioned Trump and I’m like, ‘Wait, are you a Trump supporter?’ I was like, scoot!” Abusaif told Cyrus, showing how she stop talking and walked away from the Trump fan.

Cyrus approved, flashing a million dollar smile.

Also heading back to school on Saturday was singer Katy Perry who headlined a campaign rally at the University of Nevada Las Vegas Saturday to encourage early voting.

Perry also endorsed her in October 2015 where she performed “Roar” before Clinton spoke at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia.

Jon Bon Jovi will host get-out-the-vote concerts in Pittsburgh, PA on Oct. 27 and Tampa, FL on Nov. 5.
