Adele’s concert cancellation will cost her millions for years to come

ADELE left thousands of fans disappointed when she was forced to cancel the final two shows of her tour — but it turns out she’ll feel the true cost for years to come.

Adele may never go on tour ever again

ADELE is expected to miss out on millions of dollars from her Wembley cancellations — as the shows were to be filmed for a DVD.

A crew manning 100 cameras had been set up to record Adele Live 2017: The Finale, The Sun reports.

Matt Askem, who directed concert videos for Muse and Take That, was hired to take charge with expectations it could be the most successful film of its type.

Footage from the Saturday and Sunday nights of her four-date run at the stadium would have been the basis for the movie.

But the singer, 29, cancelled the shows in the early hours of Saturday morning after vocal cord damage left her unable to perform.

She said she “struggled vocally” during the other Wembley gigs and it was “unlikely I’d make it through”.

A source told The Sun: “The DVD was a huge production and all the plans were in place for it to go ahead. But obviously that extra pressure must have been on her mind as her voice problem developed.

It’s a big disappointment, but nobody knows at this stage if it will happen again. Of course the DVD would have made millions in global sales.”
