American country music star Tyler Hubbard has taken his love for Australia to the next level by inking a “souvenir” on his leg.

The platinum-selling singer is on the Australian leg of his world tour, Strong, with sold-out shows in Melbourne, Sydney and the Gold Coast.

As a souvenir for his time in Australia, the American musician chose to tattoo a “signature Australian postage stamp” on his leg.

“Australia, you’ll always hold a special place in my heart … and on my right leg,” he wrote on Instagram.

“Australia, it’s safe to say we absolutely love you guys.”

Speaking to Today, the country superstar explained that he and his team were enjoying a day off in Melbourne when they decided to create a “little memory” of their time Down Under.

With “a couple of days off” between shows, Hubbard took time to enjoy all Melbourne has to offer, including the “good food” and coffee.

“When we were in Melbourne, we just kind of roamed around the city, had some good food, and just explored a little bit,” he told Today.

“The city is awesome. It’s got a lot of good energy.”

Hubbard, who is best known as one half of the former music duo Florida Georgia Line, launched his solo career in 2021.

He is on tour across the three Australian cities, with Queensland country artist and “rodeo cowboy” Wade Forster as the opening act.
