One features Riri grinding on her (rumoured) ex-boyfriend in a crowded Caribbean restaurant, while in the second, she dances seductively in front of Drake, who is sitting on a couch, wearing a see-through top.

The video is Rihanna’s third collaboration with Canadian rapper Drake, after their song Take Care (2012) and What’s My Name? (2010).

The first Work video, set in a restaurant, was directed by Director X, who also made Drake’s Hotline Bling clip, while the second — which has purple and pink lighting — was made by Swedish director Tim Erem, dazeddigital.com reports.

“You just put them in front of the camera and they’re like the two coolest, most interesting artists you can see,” Erem told Entertainment Weekly.

“Doing this with someone else would be the most boring video you’ve ever seen. But these two artists can carry a whole video in one setup.”

But just why there were two videos made for Work remains unclear, with Erem admitting to ew.com that wasn’t the original plan.

“They liked the pink room but wanted something more to it,” Erem said, according to EW.

“We were actually surprised how much it can carry almost the whole track.

“So we decided to actually go for it, and then they decided to do one more video for it and make it into two videos.”

But the videos were criticised by Azalea Banks, who accused the pair of ripping off Beyonce’s Baby Boy clip.

“Work video reminds me of baby boy video with Sean Paul except not as fly,” Banks tweeted, before deleting it, according to Us Weekly.

The 212 singer, who has previously had feuds with Eminem and Lady Gaga, stated: “Me watching the mediocrity that is the music industry 2016.”

“Music is honestly so f — king trash and boring. Let’s start a f — king beef and make s — t interesting. All these f — king pill popping divas doing the LEAST and the s — t is boring.

“Get these hoes a coffee and a pair of boxing gloves.”
