Wiz Khalifa was reportedly charged with illegal drug possession after using marijuana while performing at the Beach Please! Festival in Romania Saturday night.

“The prosecutors of the Directorate for the Investigation of Organised Crime and Terrorism – Constanța Territorial Service ordered the initiation of criminal proceedings against a defendant (US citizen), investigated for the crime of unlawful possession of drugs risk,” Romanian anti-organised crime prosecutors DIICOT said in a press release Sunday, Page Six reports.

“During a recital held during a music festival held in the resort of Costinești, Constanța county, [Khalifa] possessed over 18 grams of cannabis (risk drug) and consumed (on stage) another amount of cannabis under the shape of a craft cigarette.”

The 10-time Grammy nominee and other people were reportedly taken in for questioning early Sunday. Though Khalifa was charged, he was released from custody.

Page Six has reached out to Khalifa’s rep for comment but did not immediately hear back.

Following the incident, Khalifa — born Cameron Jibril Thomaz — took to Twitter to say that he did not “mean any disrespect” to the country of Romania by “lighting up on stage.”

“They were very respectful and let me go. I’ll be back soon. But without a big a** joint next time,” he added.

Khalifa is often candid about his love for weed. In January, he admitted that he shows up to his son Sebastian’s parent-teacher conferences high.

“Hell yeah. I’m pulling up stoned. They expect it,” he said on the Call Her Daddypodcast at the time.

“They know what’s up. It’s not like back in the day [where] you’re considered a bad parent if you smoke weed.”

The Work Hard, Play Hard rapper — who shares Sebastian, 11, with ex-wife Amber Rose — added that he is “pretty sure” his son “smells like weed.”

“I don’t know because I can’t smell it but I’m pretty sure he smells like pot,” he quipped.

That same month, Khalifa also admitted in an interview with SkinBone that he smokes “like 30” joints a day.
