The moment the Gold Logie sent everyone into stitches at an RnB concert
They were waiting for the likes of Usher to come out, but RnB fans got a hilariously awkward performance by the Gold Logie winner.
Well, it’s safe to say Grant Denyer shouldn’t quit television or radio for a rap career anytime soon.
The popular TV presenter and radio show host gave a cringe-worthy rendition of Ice Ice Baby by Vanilla Ice to a crowd of thousands on Saturday night.
Denyer, kitted out in a tracksuit with fake gold accessories including a glittery Gold Logie chain, came out on the RnB Fridays Live stage as ‘G Diddy’, changing the lyrics of the song to “Grant, Grant, Denyer”.
“No one will ever again need to wonder what the whitest creature in pop culture is,” said one person on Instagram.

People cringed but many thought the performance was hilarious, with one saying his Logie necklace was probably heavier than him.
“We all have that one friend!” said one person.
Another asked: “How many drinks has this man had?”

Today FM announcers said Denyer was backstage terrified.
Fans took to social media to applaud Denyer for his efforts.
“This is the greatest thing I’ve seen,” they said.
“G Diddy you were absolutely off the hook.
“Just when Australia thought they couldn’t love you any more.”
The crowd eventually got Usher.
