Splendour In The Grass may have leaked 2015 line-up on official spotify account
THE Splendour In The Grass 2015 festival line-up may have accidentally been leaked on streaming service Spotify. So which bands have apparently made the cut?
SPLENDOUR In The Grass 2015 festival line-up may have accidentally been leaked on streaming service Spotify.
The official announcement was supposed to be made Wednesday morning on Triple J’s Breakfast with Matt and Alex.
However, a playlist called ‘Splendour 2015 Line-up’ appeared on Splendour’s own Spotify account before it was promptly deleted yesterday.
If the playlist is accurate, fans can expect the festival to include international acts Blur, Florence and the Machine, Mark Ronson, The Wombats, Of Monsters and Men, Death Cab For Cutie, Bon Iver, Royal Blood and The Dandy Warhols.
Local acts Tame Impala, Pond, Thundamentals and The Delta Riggs also appear on the apparent leak.
The news comes as a number of acts have alluded to an inclusion on the bill from their own social media accounts.
Danish alt-pop star MØ’s has given the strongest indication she would be attending the festival with a post on her Facebook page.
“OMG ‘Lean On’ is now #1 in Australia!!! Thanks guys, can’t wait to play for you in July,” she wrote.
Splendour will be held at the festival’s North Byron Parklands site from Friday 24 to Sunday 26 July, with camping available from Wednesday 22 July.
Music fans will have to wait until Wednesday to see if the leaks hold any merit.
