Splendour in the Grass 2022 line-up announced: Kacey Musgraves, Liam Gallagher, Gorillaz and more

After two years of postponements and cancellations, Splendour in the Grass is officially returning next year with an all-star line-up.

After several postponements and cancellations, Splendour in the Grass will finally return in 2022 with an epic line-up of local and international talent.

Gorillaz, The Strokes and Tyler, the Creator were all previously announced to headline this year’s cancelled event and are still on-board for next year’s 20th anniversary celebrations, with organisers today revealing almost 100 more acts set to take the stage.

Kacey Musgraves, Liam Gallagher, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Dillon Francis, Ruel, Glass Animals and Tim Minchin are among the names announced today, with the festival set to return to North Byron Parklands next July.

As will virtual act, Gorillaz.

The beloved music festival, held on the land of the Arakwal Bundjalung People and the wider Bundjalung Nation, hasn’t gone ahead since pre-pandemic in 2019.

The 2020 festival was initially postponed until October that year, before being cancelled altogether. This year’s festival, initially set to take place in July before being rescheduled to November, was also cancelled as a result of the Covid-19 outbreak in NSW.

Anyone with 2021 tickets can use them for next year’s event or apply for a refund. Tickets are on sale from December 6 at 9am.
