With a line-up full of international and local star power, the Fire Fight Australia concert will be broadcast worldwide this weekend.

This weekend’s Fire Fight Australia concert is going international.

The mammoth show, which will run for 10 hours on Sunday, is playing host to international and local music icons – and can now be watched by viewers all around the world.

“The aim of Fire Fight Australia is to raise much-needed funds and support for the many Australians who have been affected by the tragic fires, and this international exposure takes the effort global,” Foxtel’s executive director of television Brian Walsh said.

Australia’s Foxtel network is feeding the broadcast of the historic concert to a potential audience of millions, with people in the US, UK and New Zealand now able to tune in.

The concert line-up, production and broadcast deals were pulled together in a matter of weeks as the Australian bushfire emergency claimed 34 lives, more than 2600 homes and destroyed one billion animals.

HOW TO WATCH

If you weren’t one of the lucky 70,000 to snag a ticket to the event, fear not.

The sold-out concert will be aired live from Sydney’s ANZ Stadium on Fox8, Channel V and the Seven Network from 1pm AEDT this Sunday.

Hosts on Fox8 will include Peter Stefanovic, Laura Jayes, Rove McManus, Matt Shirvington, Deborah Hutton, Jason Dundas, Hannah Hollis, Shaynna Blaze and Eddie McGuire.

Meanwhile Seven has assembled its Sunrise and Morning Show teams to helm their broadcast.

For those without access to a television, the concert can also be streamed live via Foxtel GO, Foxtel Now and 7plus.

And if you miss it altogether, Foxtel will broadcast a two-hour version of the 10-hour concert on Fox8 on Monday from 8.30pm to further push the fundraising campaign.

For those who are overseas and wanting to tune in, Foxtel’s Australian network has teamed up with the Fox networks in the US, Sky in the UK and TVNZ in New Zealand to air the concert.

“Foxtel is proud to work with our international partners to bring this massive entertainment event to the world,” Mr Walsh said.

“The extraordinary line-up of performers has strong global fan bases that will embrace this incredible day of music.”

Funds raised via Fire Fight Australia are set to go to key organisations providing vital assistance in areas affected by the fire devastation.

• Rescue: Rural and regional fire services in affected states

• Relief and Recovery: Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery

• Rehabilitation: The RSPCA Bushfire Appeal

• Rebuilding: Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal

“We really want to help lift spirits, band together and raise some much-needed funds for the bushfire relief,” said host of Sunday’s event Celeste Barber.

The comedian and actor spearheaded a $50 million social media fundraising campaign in January after her husband’s family members were evacuated from their homes on NSW’s South Coast.

All concert ticket profits and contributions through Ticketek are set to go towards rural and regional fire services in affected states, the Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery, and the RSPCA Bushfire Appeal.

Donations can be made from now and on Sunday here, which will go to the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal.

Both local and international broadcasts of the event will encourage viewers to donate.
