Ariana Grande has returned to Manchester to visit her fans in hospital
NUMEROUS fans have posted adorable photos of themselves with the singer after she headed back to Manchester to visit those recovering in hospital.
ARIANA Grande has flown back to Manchester ahead of her benefit concert tomorrow to visit her fans that are recovering in hospital.
A suicide bomber detonated an explosive at the singer’s Manchester concert on May 22 which killed 22 and injured over 100 others.
On Friday night, Grande headed to the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital to sit at the bedside of the victims who are recovering from the blast.
Peter Mann, whose daughter Jaden had to have two operations after shrapnel fractured both her legs, shared photos of Grande visiting his 10-year-old daughter in hospital.
His wife Sharon told Manchester Evening News, “Jaden was just sat there watching TV and she walked in. She was absolutely amazed! It was a complete surprise. She has a big smile anyway but it got even bigger, Ariana gave her a hug and a kiss, she was in awe. It was absolutely fantastic to see, she was so happy.”
Jaden also took to Twitter to share photos of the meeting, showing off a photo of her signed tour T-shirt.

A family member later posted a photo on Twitter of Grande signing a poster for the eight-year-old where she wrote “Lily, you are so strong. I love you and I’m so proud of you”.

Grande will hold a benefit concert tomorrow called ‘One Love Manchester’ and has enlisted the help of numerous pop stars to perform alongside her.
Justin Bieber, Niall Horan, Usher, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Coldplay and Pharrell Williams are all expected to perform at the June 4 concert which will be held at Old Trafford cricket ground in Manchester.
All proceeds from the concert will go to the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund which was set up by the City Council in partnership with the British Red Cross.
The fund has already made more than $11 million with Grande’s label Universal Music Group today announcing they would also donate $US500,000 to the charity.
The singer announced she would be returning to the city four days after the bombing in an emotional open letter.
“Our response to this violence must be to come closer together, to help each other, to love more, to sing louder and to live more kindly and generously than we did before,” she wrote in the statement.
“I’ll be returning to the incredibly brave city of Manchester to spend some time with my fans and to have a benefit concert in honour of and to raise money for the victims and their families.”
The concert will be screened live at 3.55am AEST on Monday morning on Channel Nine and will be screened again at 8.40pm the same day.
