LIVE BLOG: All the sequins and performances from the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest

GUY Sebastian made Australia proud with his performance at Eurovision — but confused some viewers who labelled him a “Budget Bruno Mars”.

Guy Sebastian takes on Europe's finest with 'Tonight Again'

GUY Sebastian has made Australia proud with his performance at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest.

Broadcast live on SBS Sunday morning, the contest will be replayed Sunday evening. And spoiler alert — the winner has been announced in the live blog below.

Performing at the Wiener Stadthalle stadium in Vienna — and in front of an estimated television audience of 200 million people — Sebastian belted out Tonight Again.

Written in Sydney specifically for the contest, the lyrics appropriately described how Australia’s wildcard entry must have been feeling:

“I don’t want tomorrow — oh baby tonight’s so good. Tonight’s so good. This is one tough act to follow — oh baby tonight’s so good,” the 2003 Australian Idol winner sang.

Before hitting the stage, Sebastian tweeted: “The phrase ‘music brings people together’ doesn't get much more literal than this. Such a great positive vibe in the room.”

Performing in the 12th slot of the contest, bookies have ranked the 33-year-old in the top five of the 27 finalists.

Sebastian received a roaring reception from both the crowd and social media.

But it wouldn’t be a contest without some disagreements. Some international viewers drew similarities between Sebastian and US singer Bruno Mars, and his performance sparked argument on social media.
