Kim Kardashian proves Taylor Swift agreed to Kanye’s ‘Famous’

KIM Kardashian and Taylor Swift have opened fire on each other, after the release of a secretly recorded conversation.

The war between Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift over Kanye West’s song Famous has well and truly erupted.

The reality TV star delivered the ultimate take-down of Swift today, releasing proof that the singer lied about her knowledge of the song.

Now, Swift’s angrily hit back via Instagram post, claiming the song is ‘character assassination’.

It all started earlier today when Kardashian posted a video on Snapchat, showing a friendly conversation between West and Swift where they discuss the lyrics, and Swift is clearly fine with it - actually thanking him, “I just really appreciate the heads-up, it’s so nice. I just really appreciate it.”

She even jokes that it’s a “compliment.”

Taylor: I’m like this close to overexposure.

Kanye: Oh well this one is, uh — I think this is a really cool thing to have.

Taylor: I know! I mean it’s like a compliment kind of.

Kanye: What I give a f**k about is just you as a person, and as a friend.

Taylor: That’s sweet.

Kanye: I want things that make you feel good. I don’t wanna do rap that makes people feel bad.

Taylor: Um, yea. I mean, go with whatever line you think is better. It’s obviously very tongue in cheek either way.

Taylor: And I really appreciate you telling me about it, that’s really nice!

Kanye: Yea. I just felt I had a responsibility to you as a friend. I mean, thanks for being so cool about it.

Taylor: Aw, thanks! Yeah I really appreciate it. Like, the heads up is so nice!

When the rapper released the controversial track earlier this year, with the lyrics “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex. Why? I made that bitch famous”, the internet exploded with support for Swift, including many of her famous pals.

West immediately justified the lines, insisting the pop star knew all about it beforehand, and had given him approval.

Then, it appears Swift threw him under the bus.

Her rep released this statement at the time:

“Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single ‘Famous’ on her Twitter account. She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message. Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, ‘I made that bitch famous.’”

Swift even went so far as to deliver a thinly-veiled jab at West in her Grammys speech.

In her furious post on Instagram today, the Shake It Off singer argued that while the recorded conversation was real, West had never actually said he’d use the word ‘b*tch, or played her the song.

But is this really the final nail in the coffin for Swift’s reign, or an unbelievably well-packaged media stunt dreamt up by the PR machine behind the Kardashians?

Certainly, the timing seems fishy.

Just last night on Keeping Up With The Kardashians (which was filmed months ago), Kim brought up the Taylor Swift/Famous saga, maintaining the story about West getting the singer’s approval beforehand, and revealing she had proof to back it up.

Either way, this is shaping up to be the making of a Bad Blood sequel.
