Iconic rock star Ozzy Osbourne has called out Kanye West in a scathing post shared online.

The 75-year-old Black Sabbath frontman took to X, formerly Twitter, earlier today and accused the rapper of using one of his band’s songs without permission.

Osbourne said that 46-year-old West, also known as ‘Ye’, had sought consent to use a 1983 live performance of Black Sabbath’s song ‘Iron Man’ but was denied.

He claimed that the band refused to let West use the song at his album listening party due his alleged “anti-Semitic” views.

But the rocker claimed that West went ahead and used the song anyway, sparking fury from Osbourne who stated “I want no association with this man.”

“@kanyewest asked permission to sample a section of a 1983 live performance of ‘Iron Man’ from the US festival without vocals and was refused permission because he is an antisemite and has caused untold heartache to many,” he wrote on his X page.

“He went ahead and used the sample anyway at his album listening party last night. I want no association with this man!”

Earlier, Osbourne has shared that it was the band’s song ‘War Pigs’ but has since deleted that post before re-sharing and clarifying that it was the song ‘Iron Man’.

His wife Sharon Osbourne, 71, who was raised Jewish echoed her husband’s sentiment to TMZ.

“Kanye f***ed with the wrong Jew this time,” she told the outlet, before going on to say that they have sent a cease and desist to West.

She goes on to explain that a representative for West reached out to them three weeks ago for permission to use a Black Sabbath song for his new album, but was refused.

She said that while her husband rarely refused people who want to use his music, they had a “special f**king occasion to say no”.

She said that West “represents hate” and claimed he is a “disrespectful antisemite”.

Taking to X, she also posted a cheeky meme about the situation, with the caption “Welcome to the Carnival @kanyewest #permissionnotgranted #ironman”.

West’s collaborative album with Ty Dolla $ign was due for release on Friday.

The controversial artist released the music video for the two-part track “TALKING / ONCE AGAIN” on Wednesday, which featured he and Kim Kardashian’s 10-year-old daughter North West rapping.

Last Halloween, Ozzy and Sharon dressed as West and his Australian wife, Bianca Censori, with the rock legend wearing an all-black Kanye style getup and Sharon guarding her bare chest with a purple pillow as Censori has done in the past.

Since October 2022, West has spread his controversial antisemitic viewpoints starting when he called “death con 3 ON JEWISH PEOPLE” on X.

At the time, he lost access to his social media accounts and several brand deals.

The chart-topper took part in an unhinged interview with conspiracy theorist Alex Jones and Holocaust denier Nick Fuentes, in which he ranted about the devil, professed his “love” of the Nazis and declared “I like Hitler.”

Despite his antisemitic behaviour continuing, he issued an apology to the Jewish community in December.

The rapper shared the message, which was written entirely in Hebrew, on Instagram on Christmas Day 2023.

“I sincerely apologise to the Jewish community for any unintended outburst caused by my words or actions, it was not my intention to hurt or disrespect, and I deeply regret any pain I may have caused,” read West’s message, translated from Hebrew.

“I am committed to starting with myself and learning from this experience to ensure greater sensitivity and understanding in the future.”

He added that forgiveness is “important” to him and that he’s “committed to making amends and promoting unity.”
