WHAT stays in Vegas? Human Nature.
The Australian vocal band have extended their run in Las Vegas for another three years.
Their new Vegas show Jukebox sees them move beyond being in purely Motown mode and will feature songs from everyone from The Bee Gees to Taylor Swift.
The new residency starts on March 29 at the Venetian and sees them under contract until 2018.
The Sydney band have already spent the last seven years in Vegas playing shows five nights a week.
They will keep some Motown hits in the show, as well as updating their reptoire to include their takes on Taylor Swift’s Shake It Off, Meghan Trainor’s All About That Bass and Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars' Uptown Funk.
“We pinch ourselves as four Australians to be so heartily embraced by American music fans,” Human Nature’s Phil Burton said.
The band announced the new residency on the US Today show overnight.
The new show also sees them also include some of their own material, including When You Say You Love Me, as well as the Backstreet Boys’ I Want It That Way and songs by the Beach Boys, Boyz II Men and the Beatles.
“We’ll be playing music from all eras, and we’ll throw in some Motown and some music from our pop career and the ‘boy band’ days. We’ll be highlighting what ‘boy bands’ have been like through the ages — not only a guilty pleasure but a jukebox unto themselves.”
The band played a Christmas and Motown themed festive show at the Venetian last month.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the band’s debut album Telling Everybody, which went on to sell over 200,000 copies in Australia.
