It was a star-studded guest list at Coldplay’s concert at the Glastonbury Festival in the UK over the weekend.

Leading the way in the elevated VIP area was Tom Cruise, who appeared to have the time of his life dancing along with British actor Simon Pegg.

The duo were seen belting out Oasis’ hit Don’t Look Back in Anger that was playing as they waited for Coldplay to take the stage.

In a clip shared by BBC Radio 6 Music’s Matt Everitt on Twitter, Cruise, 61, and Pegg, 54, sang along to the 1996 smash-hit from a raised platform, as Pegg pretended to conduct the audience with two hands.

Another famous face was in the VIP area: Gillian Anderson. The X Files and The Crown actress could be seen filming the moment with her phone.

Cruise and Pegg go way back – they have starred alongside each other in the Mission: Impossible movies, most recently appearing in the latest instalment, Dead Reckoning: Part One.

Meanwhile, Anderson, 55, co-starred with Cruise in the 2008 comedy movie, How to Lose Friends & Alienate People.

When Coldplay eventually took the stage at the Somerset festival, they made history by becoming the first band to headline the iconic event a record five times.

Frontman Chris Martin and his bandmates first made their Glastonbury debut back in 1999. Within three years they went on to headline, first in 2002, and again in 2005, 2011 and 2016.

During their Saturday night show, the band also gifted the crowd with a heartwarming Michael J. Fox cameo – the Back to the Future star joining Martin onstage for an emotional performance of his tear-jerking song Fix You, strumming away on an electric guitar from his wheelchair.

The incredible show comes ahead of the beloved band’s return to Australia, with Coldplay hosting eight shows across Sydney and Melbourne from October.

As for Cruise, this is the second time he has been spotted at a concert in the past week.

On June 22, the Top Gun star rocked out inside the VIP tent at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour at London’s Wembley Stadium.

Cruise was even seen exchanging DIY friendship bracelets with concertgoers as he made his way to his seat.
