The mum of two had everyone turning their heads so fast they had whiplash.

On the red carpet she told E's Ryan Seacrest: "They didn't say anything about leg! I thought I was being such a good girl! A little shoulder, a little leg."

The ex-American Idol judge was referring to a memo from Grammy execs which said 'revealing clothing' was not welcome on the Grammy Awards' red carpet this year.

When on stage presenting an award J.Lo cheekily added: "As you can see, I got the memo."

The singer's Anthony Vaccarello dress was not the only revealing gown to show off it's owner's assets. Katy Perry and Alicia Keys also dared to be daring with low cut and cut-out gowns. 

Singer-songwriter Skylar Grey let out an ``oops!'' when asked about the guidelines. "I had to show the side boob,'' she said. ``What are they gonna do, kick me off?''
