G Flip and Chrishell Stause make out in film clip for new single Get Me Outta Here
The Aussie singer and Selling Sunset star dial up the heat in G Flip’s latest film clip, with their chemistry palpable in steamy makeout scenes.
Aussie singer G Flip has released a film clip featuring new flame Chrishell Stause — and it’s full of steamy makeout sessions.
The video, shot for G Flip’s latest single Get Me Outta Here, sees the surprise new couple kissing in hot and heavy scenes in the aisles of a convenience store and on a couch in a red-lit room.
It is understood the video marked beginning of the romance between the 40-year-old star of Netflix’s Selling Sunset and 27-year-old Triple J favourite from Melbourne.
During the Selling Sunset reunion last week, Stause explained how the somewhat unlikely relationship came about: “It started because I was just going to be in their video. And it’s about this chaotic love story,” she said. “I come from soaps. I love acting. And with the job that we have, I don’t always get to do it. At first of course I was like, ‘Yes, let’s do that.’”
Stause took to Instagram yesterday to describe the “deep connection” she shares with G Flip, who is non-binary and uses they / them pronouns.
The reality star explained that she’d wanted to clarify her romance for fans of her Netflix show, as it appeared she’d only just ended her relationship with co-star Jason Oppenheim.
Stause and Oppenheim, 45, dated for five months last year before releasing a statement in December announcing they had split, with Stause later revealing she wanted to start a family, while Oppenheim didn’t feel ready.
“You don’t get to choose when you come into someone’s life,” Stause said. “As much as I wish what I wanted in my last relationship aligned (with) the same things, it didn’t, and that’s OK.”
Stause admitted that she knew some fans “won’t understand or agree”, but that her attraction was about “the person”.
“It is about their heart. I am attracted to masculine energy, and I don’t really care what the physical form is,” she said.
Rumours of a relationship came about after the pair were photographed kissing in an LA nightclub recently. They’ve also flirted openly on social media: In a recent Instagram post, G Flip referred to themselves as a “gender smoothie” – to which Stause commented, “The most perfect blend” along with a heart emoji.
Their relationship appears pretty serious, with People Magazine reporting the couple are already living together in Stause’s LA house.
The former Days of our Lives star was previously married to fellow soap actor Justin Hartley from 2017 to 2021. Before that, she was engaged to Glee star Matthew Morrison in 2006.
G Flip has previously been linked to former Bachelorette Brooke Blurton.
