IT WOULD win over any partner — a surprise birthday cake presented by two rappers. But something is lacking in Salim Mehajer’s picture.

THERE’S nothing like a surprise cake on your birthday and controversial former councillor Salim Mehajer has certainly rustled one up for his wife Aysha.

On a picture posted to Facebook, Mr Mehajer, who was ousted from his role as Deputy Mayor of western Sydney’s Auburn Council in February, is seen clutching a cake — possibly a moist cheesecake with a crumbly biscuit base — inscribed with words ‘Happy Birthday Aysha’.

And if that wasn’t impressive enough, the cake came with two handlers — US musicians Tyga and Omarion.

The caption to the image reads, “Happy birthday to my beautiful wife, Aysha. Just the beginning to an eventful week. Love you dearly, forever and ever. -Ft Tyga & Omarion”.

The only thing missing from the celebratory scene is Mrs Mehajer herself.

In the picture Compton-born rapper Tyga, who is dating Kylie Jenner of the Kardashian clan, leans nonchalantly against a white piano but seems disinterested in the birthday baked goods just inches away from him.

R & B singer Omarion wears his sunglasses indoors, despite it being way after dusk.

The snap, posted late on Monday night, appears to have been taken in the Mehajer’s mini-mansion in the Sydney suburb of Lidcombe.

The marble spiral staircase, prominent in the picture, looks to be the same one that Mr Mehajer ended up in court over in November after claims some of the work completed on it wasn’t paid for. Mr Mehajer later settled the dispute.

It’s not the first time the impressively grand staircase, each individual stair of which illuminates, has hosted rappers. In October, US singer Bow Wow filmed the video for his single Too Real on the spiral stairs adorned with curvaceous women.

The video shoot took place just weeks after the Mehajer’s extravagant wedding, involving fast cars and helicopters and closing down an entire suburban street, which propelled the couple into the limelight.

The lack of Mrs Mehajer in the picture could fuel rumours all is not well in the household since the politician was sacked from Auburn council along with all of his fellow councillors in February.

The NSW Government is currently conducting a public inquiry into planning decisions made by the council.

Earlier this month, Channel 9’s A Current Affair claimed the couple hadn’t been seen in public together for some time and the Mr Mehajer’s exaltations for his wife were actually a sign all was not well.

But news.com.au understands Mrs Mehajer was indeed present at the star studded house party While Mr Mehajer has batted away rumours his relationship is on the rocks, In a picture posted following the A Current Affair allegations, he posted a picture of himself and his wife on Facebook saying “Believe nothing, and trust no one”.

Since then Mr Mehajer has flooded Facebook with images of he and Aysha with expressions of love and pink heart emojis.

Perhaps the next image posted to his timeline will be one of Ms Mehajer tucking into her tasty birthday cheesecake.
